BookVillage reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. No Guarantee of Results

BookVillage provides a platform that enables authors to make their books visible to compatible readers within the community.

However, BookVillage does not guarantee that any specific number of reviews will be received, that any promotion will be booked, or that readers will choose a specific book.

All participation within the platform remains voluntary and based on genuine reader interest.

The Service guarantees access to the platform's features and infrastructure, but not the outcome of user interactions.

4. User Accounts

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Using or hiring virtual assistants, freelancers, agencies, or third parties to perform assignments or publish reviews on your behalf
• Sharing Amazon reviewer accounts with third parties for the purpose of completing BookVillage assignments
• Using automated tools, artificial intelligence systems, bots, or scripts to generate review content
• Publishing reviews that are not based on genuine reading or authentic personal experience
• Attempting to manipulate the platform's systems, including assignment limits, reviewer activity limits, or promotion balancing mechanisms
• Operating multiple accounts in order to bypass platform limits or protections

Users must personally perform all actions associated with their BookVillage account.

Any attempt to circumvent these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of the account.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of BookVillage and its licensors.

The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of applicable jurisdictions.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of BookVillage.

7. User Content

Our Service allows users to post, store, and share certain information or materials.

You are responsible for the content that you submit through the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

• Evidence of an active Kindle Unlimited subscription when relevant
• Screenshots of Amazon account purchase history
• Screen recordings showing transaction history or reading activity
• Any other documentation reasonably necessary to verify legitimate use of the platform

These verification requests are designed solely to ensure that assignments and reviews originate from genuine user activity.

If a user fails to provide the requested documentation within a reasonable timeframe, or if the provided materials indicate abuse of the system, BookVillage reserves the right to:

• Permanently disable the user account
• Block the user from future access to the Service
• Invalidate assignments or promotions associated with the account
• Deny any refund request

Examples of abusive behavior include, but are not limited to:

• Purchasing books solely to obtain verified review status and then requesting refunds through Amazon
• Using multiple reviewer accounts to bypass weekly limits
• Delegating assignments to external parties or virtual assistants

Our primary responsibility is to protect the integrity of the community and the safety of all users.

9. Third-Party Platform Disclaimer

BookVillage is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Amazon or any other third-party marketplace.

Users acknowledge that BookVillage cannot guarantee:

• That reviews posted on third-party platforms will be accepted or published
• That reviews will remain visible indefinitely
• That third-party platforms will not modify their policies or enforcement practices

All actions taken on external platforms, including the publishing of reviews, are subject to the rules and policies of those platforms.

Users remain solely responsible for complying with the guidelines of any third-party platform they use.

10. External Platform Policy Changes

BookVillage operates in an environment that depends on the policies, guidelines, and technical systems of third-party platforms, including but not limited to Amazon.

These external platforms may modify their policies, enforcement practices, algorithms, or review moderation systems at any time.

Users acknowledge that such changes may affect the visibility, acceptance, or permanence of reviews published on those platforms.

BookVillage cannot control or predict such changes and shall not be held responsible for any consequences resulting from policy updates, enforcement actions, or technical modifications implemented by third-party platforms.

If external platform policies change in a way that affects the operation of certain BookVillage features, BookVillage reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue those features without liability.

11. Review Authenticity Statement

BookVillage is designed to promote genuine reader engagement and authentic book reviews.

All reviews submitted in connection with the Service must be:

• Honest
• Unbiased
• Based on real reading experiences

BookVillage does not pay for reviews and does not provide financial incentives in exchange for reviews.

The platform operates as a community-based system where users voluntarily contribute to the reading and discovery of books.

Users remain solely responsible for ensuring that their review activity complies with the policies of the platforms where the reviews are published.

12. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or transmit unlawful or harmful content
