Set Up Your Reader Profile: The Key to Contributing to the Village
👋 Welcome, Village Reader.
I’m the Minister of BookVillage, and today I’ll guide you through an essential step in your journey: configuring your Reader Profile.
📌 This is not just filling out a form. You’re establishing the foundation for interacting safely, effectively, and in full compliance with the BookVillage ecosystem.
🏛️ What Is the Reader Profile?
Your Reader Profile is your operational identity as a reviewer within the Village.
It determines:
✅ Your compatibility with promotions available in the Library
✅ The security of your Amazon account
✅ The smooth, balanced experience BookVillage aims to provide for all members
🌱 How to Configure It
📌 1. Select Your Amazon Marketplace
📖 You must choose the main Amazon marketplace where you will post your reviews (e.g., amazon.com, amazon.it, amazon.co.uk).
⚠️ Important: This choice can currently be modified every 14 days.
Why?
📌 Because BookVillage uses this information to ensure every Promotion is perfectly placed in the Library, managing author-reader interactions with precision.
🔒 Our algorithm—secret and by far the most advanced in the industry—is designed to minimize the risk of community saturation.
🔄 2. Choose the Review Detection Method
BookVillage offers two modes (one currently available, one coming soon):
✅ Manual Review Detection
📌 With this method, you manually paste the Amazon review link once it goes live.
📢 Important Note: With manual detection, you can use the same Amazon reviewer account across multiple BookVillage profiles.
However, the system still enforces a strict limit of 6 reviews per week per Amazon account.
⚠️ Very important clarification:
The weekly limit is calculated based on the date the assignment was booked, not the date the review is published on Amazon.
If a reader books more than 6 assignments within the same week, the 7th (and any subsequent ones) will not be counted by the system, even if the review is submitted correctly.
📉 Repeated violations may lead to penalties and temporary restrictions on your BookVillage account.
📌 Why this rule?
Because it protects your Amazon account from overuse and potential flagging, and it safeguards the entire community from mass review removals or bans that could compromise Village stability.
🚀 Automatic Review Detection (Coming Soon)
📌 You’ll provide your Amazon reviewer name and a link to an already published review.
Advantages:
• Automatic review detection, no need to paste links
• Greater convenience and speed
⚠️ Note: This method will only be available once our security systems are fully refined to guarantee maximum protection for all members.
♻️ Updating Your Reader Profile
📢 Good news: you can update your Reader Profile settings every 14 days.
This allows you to adapt your experience in BookVillage without compromising system stability.
📏 Key Rules for Reviewers
To protect both the community and your Amazon account:
✅ Reserve only 1 assignment per day to avoid posting multiple reviews at once
✅ Respect the completion window from Day 5 to Day 7
✅ Do not exceed 6 assignments per week per Amazon account
✅ Write authentic reviews based on actual reading (no AI or copied content)
📢 The Minister of BookVillage reminds you:
"Every choice you make here is not just for you—it’s for the balance of the entire Village. This is our pact of trust."
🕵️♂️ Advanced Monitoring Systems
The Village constantly monitors every interaction to:
✅ Detect anomalies or abuse
✅ Prevent suspicious reviews
✅ Ensure every contribution is genuine and compliant with Amazon guidelines
🤖 No AI, Only Real Reviews
📌 Reviews must be written by you, without the use of generative software.
❌ AI-generated reviews = risk of removal by Amazon and immediate ban from the Village.
✨ A New Standard for Reviewers
Configuring your Reader Profile is the first step to joining an ecosystem that:
✅ Protects your Amazon account
✅ Allows you to contribute safely
✅ Ensures the Village’s sustainability for years to come
