How BookVillage Determines the Reviews You Can Receive – Practical
Introduction
This article explains in the simplest possible way how many reviews you can receive on BookVillage and of which type, based only on what you post.
No theory. Just rules.
The Only Two Things You Need to Know
BookVillage uses two counters:
1) Review Slots
Each review you post gives +1 Review Slot
Each review you receive uses -1 Review Slot
You can never receive more reviews than the number you posted
2) Wallet
Only paid reviews you post add money to the Wallet
Free or unverified reviews add $0
You can only request paid reviews if you have enough Wallet balance
What You Get When You Post a Review
Review you post | Review Slots | Wallet |
|---|---|---|
Free / Unverified / Kindle Unlimited | +1 | $0 |
Verified Paid ($0.99, $2.99) | +1 | +price paid |
What Happens When You Request a Review
Review you request | Review Slots | Wallet |
|---|---|---|
Free / Unverified / Kindle Unlimited | -1 | $0 |

• go below 0 Review Slots
• go below $0 in the Wallet

• 2 reviews, choosing the prices freely within your Wallet.
Important Rule (Very Simple)
• Reviews control how many you receive
• Money controls which type you receive
That’s it.

• Kindle Unlimited
• Verified Free Promo
They all:

add $0 to the Wallet
