👋 Dear Villagers,
I’m the Minister of Economy, and if you’ve received a notification that your book wasn’t approved, don’t worry—this situation is more common than you think and can be resolved easily.
Let’s see why this happens and how to fix it.
🕵️♂️ Why Was Your Book Not Approved?
When you manually submit a book for approval, our team checks that all information is correct and compliant with BookVillage and Amazon guidelines.
📌 The most common reasons for rejection are:
🔸 Incorrect or Nonexistent ASIN
You entered an ASIN that doesn’t correspond to any book on Amazon or belongs to another title.
🔸 Mismatched Title or Cover
The information you submitted doesn’t match what’s visible on Amazon. This can happen if the book was recently updated (e.g., new cover or modified title).
🔸 Book Not Available on the Selected Marketplace
The book isn’t available on the Amazon marketplace you selected as preferred for that promotion.
✅ How to Correct and Resubmit the Book
📢 The good news: you can correct the data and resubmit the book in just a few minutes.
1️⃣ Go to your dashboard and select the book in question.
2️⃣ Click “Update Book” and use the “Automatic Update” function to sync data directly from Amazon.
3️⃣ If you prefer, you can submit the book manually again with the correct information.
📌 The system will automatically update all information, and the book will be re-evaluated.
🛡️ Why Is This Check Important?
These checks ensure that:
✅ All books in the Library are up-to-date and accurate
✅ Assignments reserved by readers match exactly the title and cover they’ll see on Amazon
✅ The Village community remains strong and compliant with Amazon guidelines
📢 A Word From the Minister of Economy
